11am	on our way out of La Crosse, WI Destination: Pabst Brewery in Milwaukee
noon	I-94 mile 74, WI
1pm	Madison, WI We stopped at a Starbucks and checked out the state capitol.
2pm	I-94 exit 253, WI
3pm	Milwaukee, WI We tried to visit the Pabst Brewery, but it wasn't there any more.
4pm	Mader's Restaurant, Milwaukee, WI We had lunch/dinner at a German restaurant in downtown Milwaukee.
5pm	Milwaukee, WI We walked around Milwaukee a little to help digest the huge slabs of meat we'd just consumed.
6pm	I-94 south of Milwaukee, WI
7pm	I-94, 20 miles north of Chicago, IL
8pm	I-90 in Indiana We tried to catch the sunset over Lake Michigan at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, but there wasn't much light left by the time we got there.
9pm	80/90 LaPorte, Indiana
10pm	change to Eastern Time, so 10pm didn't happen
11pm	Elkhart, IN It's one of those double rest stops -- same setup on both sides of the freeway.
midnight	Ohio border We just crossed into Ohio and picked up a new toll ticket.
