The tomatoes, basil, and peppers in the half wine barrel are growing fast.

The nasturtiums in the sunnier patio are mostly done, but these under the pepper tree are still blooming.

It rained a lot this weekend, and wasn't quite as warm during the week. The sprinklers still aren't fully operational, but the leak detector guy located the leak -- an old galvanized pipe near one of the trees in the patio.

These Iceberg roses are mosrly white, but some of them have some pink color.

The loquats are starting to get ripe; I'm still not sure what to do with them.

The narcissus foliage was mostly yellow, so I trimmed it back this week.

I tied the lantana to one of the posts to keep it from falling over.

The green leaves on the right are from the grapevine that I thought was dead last year.

It's hard to see in this picture, but the kangaroo paws have each sent up a couple of stalks.

I did lots of deadheading of the African daisies this week.

The grass on the hill is all brown now.
